Pastoral Counseling
PSU has been advocating and litigating for the rights of Pastoral Counselors for almost 20 years. The traditional "psych" organizations have long attempted to interject their irrelevant standards of education and practice into PC, in an attempt to protect their turf.
Most legal scholars believe these efforts to be unconstitutional, given the separation of church and state, yet these organizations have gotten a number of States to go along with strawman standards that are a back door way of imposing their flawed logic and standards on PC's. If you've seen negative comments on the web about PSU or PC's, they are likely driven by liberal psych organizations objecting to anyone outside their manipulative control, or counselors who make Spirit a central part of their practice, in opposition to the largely atheistic social progressives at these liberal organizations and schools.

As a First Amendment protected publisher of many "how to" guides, PSU offers a number of publications designed to protect your Pastoral Counseling practice, and guide you through the maze of licensing and audit roadblocks set up by psych associations, which differ greatly State by State.
